Should Riot put in new Maps to the game?

I have been thinking about this for years. I am sure everyone has at least a couple times and the question is, why hasn't league put new maps into the game over the years? I have been wondering why but never really knew. So do you think Riot should put in at least two or three more maps? I think they should, would be more fun to have something like that instead of playing on just Summoners Rift and Twisted TreeLine or even Howling Abyss all the time. I'm pretty sure the maps get boring after a while. So what do you think should they put in some new maps?

They need to fix twisted treeline first. Then we can talk.

I would love to see a second Summoners Rift 5 man map with the same Objectives just laid out differently to give different play styles.

Make it so you get one of the two and so on Map X champs like A,B and C are good but on Map Y champs like D, E and F are good.

Just something different in general. I want the same rules with a different layout.

Yes, absolutely. The game is becoming beyond stale and rotating queue is not enough to keep things fresh. Specifically, the game lacks a fun, laid-back mode, like Dominion sort of used to be. 3v3 is worse than SR when it comes to snowballing and ARAM is ARAM.

The problem about seriously supporting alternate maps is balancing. It's already hard enough balancing 120+ champions on SR, balancing them around multiple maps is is simply unfeasible. Riot did try their hand at making alternate maps but they never worked out (bye Magma Chamber). So I don't think it's reasonable to expect any serious work on maps with alternate lanes and stuff anymore, it's kinda something Riot already tried to make it work but failed.

I mean if smite and dota can make multiple maps then i'm sure league can do it too they just need to work harder and think about what would make a fun map. lets see a desert would be nice.
