My Idea for the future of Essence!

You know what would be a good idea? Being able to purchase just orange Essence with IP would make it easier to unlock stuff we get from the Hextech chests. I know not everyone will agree upon this idea, but think about it instead of just being able to spend IP on Runes and Champions and Rune pages what about Essence? it would make things more convenient. Instead of wondering when you'll reach 4k Essence to unlock all the skins you want. also it would mean no more clutter of items in the loot inventory unless you want clutter of random items. What I'm trying to say is it would be nice to be able to have this option then just only being able to spend IP on the items we already can spend IP on, If you have all the champions and rune pages but cant afford to buy the skins with RP that you already have in your loot already waiting to be unlocked, why not have Essence to buy with IP? Would be pointless to buy RP for a skin you want when you have it already in your loot inventory. If they have to they can always still put a rp price on it so it doesn't hurt their profit.

People with excess IP should donate champions :)

Nah, I am sure it would be nice for OverIP players to have something to do. But Riot's only answer was champion tokens to hit Rank6,7. I am not sure if anything else is in the works.

Riot doesn't want to give players a way to unlock Skins with IP. It would really hurt their profits.

They won't implement this for the same reason they won't decrease Key Fragment drop rates. They need to keep making money so they can keep making cool new stuff.
