Ziggs or Brand? (or Viktor?)

Hey, I'm getting back into ranked after a couple years of not playing ranked. I'm seeing that a lot of my old favorite mids aren't really terribly effective anymore, not against competent opponents anyways. I want to buy and start practicing a new one, I was playing Brand on his free week, and he seems really good, Ziggs seems like he has a more versatile kit, and seems more useful in team fights. I don't know much about Viktor, but he came up a lot in similar discussions from 2 years ago so I figured he deserved some interest maybe.

Who do you guys think fits in better with the mid-lane right now, of these three?

Brand and Ziggs are two of my favs. Brand is probably "better" I guess in an all-around useful kind of way. Ziggs has great poke at all stages and does good burst. Both are good choices. I would say Brand is probably an easier learning curve though, Ziggs is a little harder to get the combos and timing down.

they are all good but find that viktor is pretty good ever since the rework just takes practice and determining what build on him since he can only have like 5 items and knowing when to upgrade his hexcore and such

Your 3 choices here are my top 3 favorite mids to play. The best part about all of them is that they won't be banned out at all (maybe Viktor right now but not Brand or Ziggs).

Xerath is, unfortunately, a bit better at the same role (pushing and seiging) than Ziggs.

Brand is a great teamfighter but requires good positioning. His AP ratios are pretty low as well, but his passive makes up for it IMHO.

Viktor is really strong right now. Takes a bit of time to get used to him (specifically his Q and how it casts) but other than that I love him. He is good in teamfights as well, and can blow people up. I think he is the most well rounded out of all of them.

Personally I can not choose one over the other. I choose them based on the team comp.

Brand if enemy is fairly tanky
Ziggs for poke comps or to play safe
Viktor when I know I can cheese hard at level 2 and win lane/pick him whenever because he is awesome
