Banning a teammates declaration should be instant feedback right?
I just played a game with some toxic jerkbag who bans my Kindred after I declared her.
(Nice guy) joined the lobby Abraxis joined the lobby (Toxic jerkbag) joined the lobby (Nice guy) joined the lobby (Nice guy) joined the lobby Abraxis: the fuck? (Toxic jerkbag): yeah no Abraxis: Guy i am a kindred main (Toxic jerkbag):ur mid (Toxic jerkbag):no
To explain my choice, I main Kindred, and have nearly never lost a game I've taken seriously in mid with Kindred. Half of the benefit of picking off meta picks is that your opponent has no idea what to expect or how to deal with you. It is a valid strategic decision that you don't want to discourage, and I know you don't because I've watched you break meta after meta. Especially with Kindred's mark system, only I know how valuable they are to me and this forces bad plays from the enemy. I am very good at exploiting that. Mid is the best spot to do this from because it's equidistant from everything and they never know where I've left to, which ripples outward to the benefit of everyone on my team. It's a fear I can control better in Mid than from the jungle because I know roughly when an MIA ping gets called, and I watch how that affects people. I use that to control every lane, and if they do not react, I teach them why they should. When I do well, I can relieve pressure on my team-mates even just by going back to buy. I have been playing this game since just a few months after it left beta, I know what I'm doing, and anyone who spoke to me about it, or just looked at my profile would see that.
But all of that means nothing, none of it matters. He never even asked me, he just banned her.
This is toxic behavior, cut and dry, no matter my intent or reasoning.
If I were trolling, banning my pick and pissing me off would not solve anything, this would not convince anyone of a negative disposition to suddenly become a team player.
There is no conceivable situation where a player behaving like he did is positive for any team.
The evidence is in the system. I clicked a button to declare her, he clicked to ban her, and then taunted me about it in the chat.
How much more objective evidence does a system need to make a determination and confirm a thing happened?
There is no question about intent here, this should be automatic, instant feedback on my report.
This is an easy solution, two lines of code would do it, and I see no reason why it has not already been implemented.
or you have some explanation why I should be punished for wanted to play my Kindred in mid?
I don't really think that's something you endorse RIOT.
I don't think your coders are this incompetent either.
So what is going on here?
This doesn't make any sense.
The game was still more fun when it was in social anarchy. At least then, if someone messed with you, you could freely mess with them, it was not healthy, but at least it was cathartic. And more often than not it kept people in line, because no one wanted to waste time in a 4v5 -so there was always a risk to being a jackass. Now they're almost rewarded for it. People just exploit the poor judgement of your behavior system to torture folks with impunity and we have no recourse but to come here and be ignored by you. -In another system that allows the empty minded with no constructive opinions of their own to detract with no valid input or discussion.
Like... Jesus guys, how is any of this progress? It is literally anti-progress, and it is tyranny in places where we should be able to go to have fun.
Where we are concerned, this will yield long-term harm to community and culture, negatively impacting fun. Where you should be concerned, is that this will directly feed your competition. I don't believe this is sustainable. None of us wants to see this game fail, so convince me I'm wrong.
