Dear Riot take off some cdr from items.

It's so annoying that there is so much of it especially in the enchanters items why do i have to run transcendence every game because it since if I don't I just over cap wasting gold.

Like why not take off some and put like ms or hp instead. Like here is a build to show the problem. Redemption,Ardent Censer,Athene's,Frost Queen's,boots Pretty normal build and it gives you 40% cdr but what do you get after? Spellbinder? Like all the utility items give cdr so you're forced to waste gold as a support and that doesn't feel good in my opinion.

Like when I play support and even some tanks I feel forced to take transcendence its a good rune but it should not be something that is mandatory it should be o I'll go into cdr to work with my transcendence not I'll take transcendence so I don't feel like I'm wasting gold.

In my opinion a lot of the core support items should keep cdr but items like twin shadows should lose it in favor of other stats.

It would also be cool since there would be more of a reason to take runes that give cdr.

Also this is just for supports. Like a lot of bruiser items give it too to the point where I would it is a big problem since they get so much cdr then just go into hp items. Like why replace some of the cdr with mana or mana regenerate or just something else.

In my opinion the only two classes where it's not a problem is adc and assassins.

Needing cdr should be a weakness and yes some champions need it but there is just way to many items.

I'm glad boards are starting to Hivemind complain about CDR.

I always felt it became too abundant especially since newer champions get lower and lower CD abilities.

I'm hoping this gets noticed and there will be an overhaul nerf to CDR items across the board.

My real problem, is the cdr on mages. I mean, take a look at some items and their costs The most problematic item? item 3152 The second most problematic item? item 3285

item 3152 Gives 300 health 60 ap 10 cdr 75-150 active damage with 25% ap ratio Doesn't sound too bad, oh wait! 2500 gold! Crafted from Kindlegem, amazing health cdr item and hextech revolver, 40 ap and 50-125 dmg... Yeah, totally not a broken item, totaly!

item 3285 I thought of replacing this with gunblade instead (which is also very, very broken) but it gives way, too, much to not have it here 90 ap 600 mana (idk why they made mage items give unlimited mana without increasing mages mana costs) 20% cdr (10% more given from its passive "haste") And "echo", moving or casting stacks up to 100 where your next ability deals bonus 100 dmg, scaling with 10% of ap Cost for all of this? 3200. The cost sounds as it would balance the item if again, it didn't build from a amazing item named lost champter which gives you free 40 ap and 300 mana AND 10% cdr ANDdidn't restore 20% of your maximum Mana over 3 seconds....

Mages, have high scaling (the majority of them) and you give them such items? For what reason? Because they picked a mage they get to dominated early, mid and late game except if you are an assassin main?! I play Gangplank on midlane who is an amazing champion in that lane but I feel so weak when to do any serious damage I have to build a item which costs 3733 gold and to trade them, even when I get that item, I will have to get close to the mages and to do so I have to land perfect combos or else I lose the trade because I tried to get close to them and they have these items to burst me down. And why are mage items so broken? Because back in the assassin meta, midlaners complained (and rightfully did so) that they could nothing vs the assassins that had taken over midlane. So, riot nerfed some, reworked some and buffed the mage items. Now, whoever is not a mage or an assassin and attempts to play mid, is like saying "Yeah, I want to lose".

Why does every practical item for tanks to pick up magic resist waste stats on cdr... item 3065 item 3194 item 3001

or armor....item 3193 ...but atleast this item can give you 80 mr...

Why does item 3110 give 20% , take off 10% and some mana, increase the cost and add some actual useful defensive stats to it because 100 armor is crap, even with the attack speed slow passive.

Supports base once, come back to lane with 15% cdr.

Like come the fuck on...

Frostfang/Coin/Relic upgrade is 450.

Most Supports take Cosmic Insight anyway.

450 gold and you have 15% cdr as early as 4 minutes into game.

Mages and champions like Riven are meant to be gated by their cooldowns and mana costs (if mages) but let's be realistic now, neither exist.

Remove transcendence and fix CDR. I think both need to be looked at. Also, about your question for support build, where is the solari?

I mean it's by far best rune out of the 3 choices, Very few champions still take celerity and absolute focus gives allot less ap/stats in favor for getting power earlier into the game.

Don’t forget bruisers. They get so much cdr in their items for no actual reason it’s not even funny.

Taking transcendence on champions like lulu/sona/lux is actually so broken.

your core of item 3174 item 3504 item 3107 item 3310 item 3158 is enough to give you around 60 to 80 free AP depending if you can get blue or not. It's not uncommon to see the full support build sona having more ap than the midlaner since she's running transendence/gathering storm

Casters only have abilities governed by CDR to do dmg in most situations. It is the ranged ADC who do the damage complained about. Yet I still see Juggernaut players complaining about mages. A reduction in CDR only serves to help Tankie DPS players and not the real damage coming from an auto attacking ranged ADC.

Why address CDR then?

Because Juggernaut players don't have a lot of CC and often mages do.

Juggernaut players hate being locked down; they want to just butt heads and feel they are skilled so they cry about CDR.

Mages have early game and they fall off in dmg late game stop complaining about CDR when they only have CC/kiting late game to survive.
