We knew this was how the preseason would be so stop acting surprised.

I have a few things to point out, one being how obvious it is that this is what would happen, two being that this is all intentional, and three being that those who keep complaining should just move on.

1. We've seen evidence that this was going to happen all throughout the previous season and the season before as well. We've had damage creep, lower defenses, useless towers, useless champions, new broken champions, new broken items, buffed damage runes, etc. What was there that pointed to the preseason being any different? I personally expected them to turn ignite into a item passive for a new item that gives straight ap/ad with ap/ad penetration that would be the sole item built by assassins or something else outrageous. Why is everyone acting surprised that this game got more snowbally?

2. To those saying we need a new balance team and that this once is a joke, yatta yatta yatta. No, this team is really good in my opinion, because as you can see, they're delivering on their intentions. Their goal isn't to balance, it's to make the game faster as Riot said, and they've achieved this. If you want someone gone, it should be whoever is deciding the direction of this game. Because personally, I don't think this is the balance team that's deciding that this is considered balance, it's them meeting the expectations of what the company wants. Faster games, easier to get into, friendly to new players. So stop bitching and bemoaning about the balance team, that won't change anything. And it makes rioters less likely to make any comments as we've seen this past day.

3. Considering how obvious the preseason was, I think it should also be obvious as to how this game will continue to move forward. Damage will continue to be on the rise with less wards and more gold being thrown around so people get items faster and so on. Till eventually this game reaches a certain level they find suitable then they will balance around that. But they're not going to start taking steps back and do a 180, they have no reason to besides the people here who are complaining which is a small portion of the community. I suggest if you don't like this meta and the direction of the game, move on. You're likely salty and toxic and making the game less enjoyable for others as well, and if that's the case move on. You will likely find another game that you can get a lot more enjoyment out of your time and others can enjoy themselves as well.
