How to fix nidalee

Let's talk Nidalee

Nidalee currently is bad design, no need to explain why we all hate this champ. Here what i think should fix her, but to be balanced and healthy:

Nidalee Javelin Toss (Q) Ahhhhh, the infamous nidalee spear. Those who gave nidalee her bad reputation of probably the most hated champ of all time. Everyone love to be hit by a max range Nidalee spear, only to loose 80% of our max HP and recalling ASAP, or dying. Here's the change i think would work:

Current: Javelin Toss COST: 50 / 60 / 70 / 80 / 90 MANA COOLDOWN: 6 1500 RANGE ACTIVE: Nidalee hurls her javelin forward in a line, dealing magic damage to the first enemy it hits. BASE MAGIC DAMAGE: 50 / 75 / 100 / 125 / 150 (+40% AP) After having traveled 525 units, the javelin's damage will be increased by 2% per 7.75 units traveled, capping at 200% bonus damage (300% total damage) after traveling 1300 units. MAXIMUM MAGIC DAMAGE: 150 / 225 / 300 / 375 / 450 (+120% AP)

Changed to : Javelin Toss COST: 50 MANA COOLDOWN: 6 1500 RANGE ACTIVE: Nidalee hurls her javelin forward in a line, dealing magic damage to the first enemy it hits. Each subsequent Javelin Toss in the next 10 seconds after cast will cost 50 additional mana, stacking 4 times (capping at 250 per cast). Striking an ennemy champion or Monster with a spear reset to zero Javelin Toss stack. BASE MAGIC DAMAGE: 70 / 100/ 130 / 160 / 190 (+50% AP) After having traveled 250 units, the javelin's damage will be increased by 0.5% per 5 units traveled, capping at 100% bonus damage (200% total damage) after traveling 1250 units. MAXIMUM MAGIC DAMAGE: 140 / 200 / 260 / 320 / 380 (+100% AP)

Loose damage at long range, gains some at close. Spamming spear too much increase the mana cost, but good nid player get rewarded for hitting. work with monster to doesn't affect her jungle. Damage still decent at long range for a non-ultimate ability,long range spear still feel rewarding.

Nidalee Cougar form Pounce (W) Did i already said Nidalee was the most hated champ of League? Probably because with the fact that you have to deal with every single one of her spear to not die at 1500 range, you also can't catch her because of the insane mobility in Nid kit. Let's safely remove some.

Current: Pounce RANGE: 375 (750 against Hunted ) COOLDOWN: 5 ACTIVE: Nidalee lunges a fixed 375 units in the direction of the cursor, dealing magic damage to enemies within a 75-radius area around her landing point. Scales with ranks in Aspect of the Cougar. Killing a unit will reduce Pounce's current cooldown to 1.5 second if it's currently higher. MAGIC DAMAGE: 50 / 100 / 150 / 200 (+ 30% AP) HUNT BONUS: If the cursor is near an enemy marked as Hunted within 750-range, Pounce becomes a unit-targeted dash. Current cooldown resets to 1.5 seconds if Nidalee pounces to a Hunted target. This can occur once for every time the target is hunted.

Changed to: Pounce RANGE: 350_ (750 against Hunted ) COOLDOWN: 6 ACTIVE: Nidalee lunges a fixed _350_ units in the direction of the cursor, dealing magic damage to enemies within a 100-radius area around her landing point. Scales with ranks in Aspect of the Cougar Killing a unit will reduce Pounce's current cooldown to 1.5 second if it's currently higher. MAGIC DAMAGE: 50 / 100 / 150 / 200 (+ 30% AP) HUNT BONUS: If the cursor is near an enemy marked as Hunted within 750-range, Pounce becomes a unit-targeted dash. _Cooldown reset if Nidalee pounces to a Hunted target. This can occur once for every time the target is hunted.

-25 range, 1 sec more cooldown, but the radius is now a little but more big (100 instead of 75) for more offensive use, and now fully reset the CD of pounce when jumping on a hunted target, giving acess to some in-out play possibility.

Nidalee Primal Surge (Human E) Hey guys! Wanna heard something new? Nid is the champ the most hated who ever existed on league! Did i already said it? Oh! Sorry! Because yeah, not only having to dodge all spear, do the impossible to catch her, she is also super hard to kill or poke/trade because of her insane substain! Let's nerf this shit plox

Current: Primal Surge RANGE: 600 COST: 60 / 75 / 90 / 105 / 120 MANA COOLDOWN: 12 ACTIVE: Nidalee evokes the spirit of the cougar, healing a target allied champion or herself and granting them bonus attack speed for 7 seconds. HEAL: 45 / 85 / 125 / 165 / 205 (+ 50% AP) ATTACK SPEED: 20 / 30 / 40 / 50 / 60%

Changed to: Primal Surge RANGE: 600 _COST: 80/85/90/95/100 MANA COOLDOWN: 16 ACTIVE: Nidalee evokes the spirit of the cougar, healing a target allied champion or herself and granting them bonus attack speed for _4 seconds. _HEAL: _50 / 95 / 140 / 185/ 230 (+ 50% AP) ATTACK SPEED: 40 / 50 / 60 / 70 / 80%

More CD, but now a lil bit more base heal. The cost is also up early, then reduced late. The AS boost also last less time, but is more powerfull, increasing the support power of nidalee, but with more moment to counter her.

Nidalee Swipe (Cougar E) Pretty balanced spell, but since all other Nid cougar spell give a hunt bonus, why not this one?

**Little tiny buff: ** Ratio buffed to 50% AP instead of 45% AP New functionality: Hitting an hunted ennemy with Swipe reduce Nidalee Human form spell CD by 3. This can occur once for every time the target is hunted.

Reward good nidalee to know when to go in, can give you way more spear/heal/trap if used well.

Okay, so let's check all this again:

_**TLDR: **_Spear deal less damage at long range and more at close, not cost more mana if spammed but less if hitting/not spamming. W lil bit less range and 1 sec more CD, but fully reset on Hunt and more DMG Range. Human E cost more mana laning phase and less late, have more CD but base heal up, and AS buff stronger. Cougar E now reduce Nidalee Human CD by 3.

Nidalee loose her toxic pattern of staying at long range, spamming spear until it hit one, healing when not. Nidalee need to think about when using a spear, and at low range is more reliable. She loose some substain and damage early, but can become way more powerfull when well played with the new mechanics added ( Cougar W now fully reset on hunted and E reduce CD, so you can easily throw a spear, go in, E Q, then W and R back, you probably already have spear back off CD since the CD is low and you got it reduced by 3 sec ( Long term this also mean more heal and more trap, but more risky since you need to go in use cougar E ) this put nidalee in a state where she is still really strong but need to take more risk instead of just staying back poking to death without loosing her identity, as max range spear will still hit a shitload for a non-ultimate ability. Hopefully now Nid player will try to go in more often, leading to more interaction beetween the two player (Wich is why Nid was hated, it was really hard to try interact with her), and rewarding good nid player who know when it is safe to go in.

People now love to play Nid and make play with her, spam spell, and now she's less a pain in the ass to fight vs. Those numbers are not final, and is more to put nidalee in a more healthy state, and can be nerfed/buffed if needed.

Imo they should remove the attackspeed on her e. Its just a random steriod that doesnt even fit her kit.

Personally wish to see a total rework on her E human and Cougar form.

Her heal is useless the attack speed is to unless you splash Ad. Swipe needs a buff

Personally don't want her pounce to change. The one of the things I love about her is her mobility(ability to hop walls). If that cease to exist then I hope a slow, stun of damage boost is close behind. Otherwise I fear she will go extinct.
