They said something about it making queue times worse for SR. However, I think they just don't want another map to balance, especially one that plays vastly different from SR, which would require map-specific balancing.

RGM modes are dead because the amount of resources it took to keep them running smoothly was too much for riot apparently (god knows how other games like SMITE does weekly gamemodes just fine. they must use satanic magic or something)

CLASH is the new RGM until further notice (eventually once it gets running properly...someday) so I hope you have 4 other friends you can schedule yourselves to play definitely not Flex que from now on until clash hype dies.
