The Ryze Rework is kinda brilliantly designed.

Sure, they made him a combo Mage because his spells have bonus effects if used in a correct order, however there's much more.

For example. I originally thought the runes were kind of strange but they work well. If your chasing someone, you will go E>W for the doubled root. Then you will use Q for more damage. That Q will consume the runes and give you movement speed to stick to the target. With or without thinking about it the combo works together. The same thing applies for if your running away from someone.

His E is on a low cooldown (3 seconds~ at rank 1 I think) and amplifies his spells, however without his E his W won't root very long and his Q won't pack much of a punch. This gives more of a warning then before when he could instantly root you without having to mark you and give you a moments notice.

While some dislike the Vo, I like it. Old Ryze had like 8 quotes. Sure old Ryze some cool things like rune prison and the scroll being stuck.... Somewhere safe, which I wish had a place in his VO, overall I like his VO.

His art is awesome, I love the new skin's particles and splashs. I don't like how many of his skins are legacies but eh. His current splash is 100% fine but the new one is pretty cool. His scroll is smaller which is bitter sweet but overall his model is so much cleaner. He looks like he's putting a lot of force behind his spells and there's a lot of motion. However when he's walking it's kinda like some power walk on a eliptacle.

Overall new Ryze looks sick, what do you think?
