What knowledge about LoL will help you win games?

Hey everyone!

Teemo support main here DONT KILL ME hides Anyways I'm analyzing LoL data for my PhD dissertation to understand how player strategies evolve over time as Riot patches the game. A cool problem for complex systems science, AI, network theory, and lots of other things. Since I'm doing heavy data analysis anyways, I'd like to do stuff for the players. But not dumb things like posting champion winrate and banrate. I'd like to give players a more insightful look at the current state of the game. For example, it would be fairly easy to write an app that detects eBay account buyers. Simply enter the name of the player you suspect doesn't belong in a tier, and I could tell you if they probably bought the account or just had a few bad games. Another example could be how your main is going to respond to the upcoming patch. If your main's counter's counter's counter got buffed in bot lane, what does that mean for your top laners? Things like that.

So my question to you is what kinds of information would you like to have access to? I'm in the process of building the website and developing the code, so I want your input! Want to know the champion to lose to the most? Want to know the ITEM you lose to the most? How about a recommendation for a build that counters the enemy comp for the current patch?

Sky's the limit guys! READY GO

PS Teemo supp is gud i can prove it mathmaticly PSS Website in progress: www.nostrateemo.com

Or maybe you're a Twitch streamer. I could literally keep track of the impact you make on the game: not the number of viewers, but actually how many people pick up on your playstyle. So many you're an awesome streamer and people try to copy you all the time. I can score every build/champion you play so you know which people like the best.

  1. cross-lane counterpicks (how often does Nasus lose when there is a Vayne on the opposing team?)
  2. champion win rate vs. ward count
  3. theoretical climb speed with given champion pool played at average win rate

For Supports: A "vision control" metric would be great.

The website seems it would have amazing features in the future. I'm particularly interested on the bad team mates one. Your website is a great idea and you my friend deserve a medal for deciding to do this.
