These drake souls really arent the same power as each other

Is it just me or is it:

Ocean soul = Instantly win the game Infernal soul = Instantly win the game unless you literally run into the enemy team Mountain soul = High chance to win the game Cloud soul = Meh you have an advantage I guess

It just seems that ocean soul is WAY too strong at the moment and pretty much makes a team unbeatable unless your team has 2 or more fed assassins, also, as a bruiser/tank main I generally become immortal with this soul, my best memory so far is when I played Mordekaiser and no exaggeration stood infront of 4 of the enemy and did not go below 70% hp (granted I had conqueror and ravenous hunter item 3065 but this is the normal item/rune build) while slaughtering both of their frontliners.

Infernal is just more aoe damage, pretty much works on everybody and can be likened to a mass adaptive better version of ludens echo on a 3 second cooldown. Not much more to say its just really good

Mountain is just average, makes everyone a bit tankier, I have found it to shine vs enemy poke comps but thats about it. I doubt a 200-300 strength shield will stop a fed Talon Zed from bursting someone down but thats just a sum of my experiences

Cloud is just shit ive found unless your playing really specific champions (Maybe Jax Mordekaiser Tryndamere generally just people that need to reach you). The actual drake effect is obviously really good on most champions (10% R cdr) but the soul is really nothing, compare it to the ocean soul which basically gives you walking fountain regen, or the mass adaptive ludens echo infernal soul, or permanent refreshing locket of the solari mountain soul,

Getting a 10% permanent move speed buff while helpful does not even come close to the other 3, the 30% move speed on R for a few seconds is also medicore for most champions, like Jinx uses R and gets move speed, ok so what? Shes across the map who cares, Aatrox uses R and gets 30%, helpful but he already has a massive base move speed buff from his R hes GOING to catch his target the extra 30% doesnt serve to do much,Syndra can use it to re-position but she already has her self peel 'scatter the weak' (if shes against an assassin she doesnt even get a chance to use her R to re-position and instead just uses zhonyas), supports beyond Rakan generally dont use it. These are kinda just a few examples from most classes, there are obviously outliners that just hate it Velkoz Galio Karthus but bringing them out isnt really a fair comparsion.

All in all, as fun as it is, nerf ocean soul, it doesnt feel fair when I have it and the combined effort of 4 enemy players cant kill me cause I landed a skillshot, id say infernal needs small number tweaking and mountain is fine. Id suggest buffing cloud drake to 20% base movespeed. Again this is from my experience

ocean and mountain are the strongest.

infernal is close behind.

Cloud sucks outside of niche abuse cases, and should be reworked entirely.

This goes for souls AND the regular dragons.


TBH, souls should just be removed. They don't add anything to the game.

But we all know Riot's just going to see how badly they can fuck up the game before it fails.
