If you've ever even gone near playing this shit as a melee champion your beyond fucked, and normally it shouldn't even be that bad but Phase rush makes it impossible.

Even if you dodge her Poison she just spams twin fangs, ive had death recaps that show literally nothing but twin fangs spam because I CANNOT CATCH HER. She can miss every Q and still kite me because of phase rush and R threat, if you dodge her R (Looking back) it still slows a significant amount allowing her to kite easily, Miasma is basically undodgeable and they removed the range limitation last patch which was the only saving grace for melee champions.

The WORST PART OF ALL OF THIS is that she MASSIVELY OUTSCALES despite being a potent lane bully, her passive allows for her unique ability to take 6 non boots items which is even worse than most outscaling champions. Ive played against this champion against and she holds up well against all of them. She thrashes melee champions easily (I think Irelia is the only melee champ that had a chance and thats only because of lucky Miasma dodges) and she goes even or better against ranged champions.

She needs her base mobility toned down and have it scale to the same level late game, shift her damage around so spamming E like a tourette syndrome sufferer doesnt work and you have to actually hit her abilities and put back the fucking Miasma range limitation so she doesnt have an 'oh fuck someone actually gap closed well' button

Cool she is not op. You're just playing bad. If she was good people would play her but they don't.

So if you actually think she is op then go play her and stop complaining or just learn the game.

Since a champion with less then 1 fucking percent playrate is the definition on not a problem and pretty bad.

Honestly she's a pain in the ass to deal with mid lane too. She cs's so easily, has great gank assist with W and R, wins most trades if she lands one Q and then just scales like mad into the late game.

Also if I'm not mistaken her passive gives her brown boots levels of ms by around level 7.

Play an assassin top. If you play early levels fine you can just kill her once you get your level 3

...Camille has a shield for trading for a reason, not trading every time when your Adaptive Defenses is up you are always going to lose a trade in ANY match up, she has two to 3 ways of dodging Miasma with Hookshot(once or twice with it, depends on both players), her ultimate gives her untargetability upon casting, and has Q movement speed that makes her so mobile to dodge Cassiopeia's skillshots when Camille buys item 3044 , so that's her ticket out of Cassiopeia's grounded effect. Phase Rush? Oh please, Cassiopeia can't get that much of a movement speed burst at the start of the Keystone's proc well enough to dodge Camille's point and click Ultimate, it's gonna track her down no matter what.

Cassiopeia should struggle against manaless champions by default(except Garen, he sucks against everyone and honestly that's not a surprise), against Aatrox I can relate because her DPS makes her deal more damage than Aatrox due to his slow Q animations, making him have the worst DPS possible in the game(but compensated with Burst that is...easily dodgable for Cassiopeia due to Phase Rush and Grounded effect disabling Aatrox's Q + E dash combo).

Mordekaiser shits on everyone, I'm sorry, it doesn't matter what you play in a lane against him buddy, she just shits on you, there is no talk about that.

You better praise that your top Vayne is smurfing otherwise she'll be the biggest feeder against Mordekaiser.

It doesn't matter if Cassiopeia has a huge DoT DPS, Mordekaiser has DoT DPS Burst AND Tankyness, so all can cassiopeia do is cry.

Phase Rush Procced? Let's see how you try to crawl over an impassable walls of Mordekaiser's Ultimate, let's see how useful Cassiopeia's keystone is going to be there then.

My pick into Cass is Olaf. With Doran's shield, revitalise + second wind, 350 MS (to manoeuvre around her Q), innate sustain from W, and immense kill potential if he lands an axe, I've found he does pretty well against Cass top. When you hit 6, she loses the safety of her ult and mitgates the movement speed she gets from phase rush.

That being said, you do need to smack her early. Then again, anyone who picks an Olaf to outscale a Cass is clearly operating at a higher state of mind that I can't even begin to comprehend

Cassiopeia is an absolute hyperscaling pain in the ass like Ryze, true, but she DOES have counterplay.

However, the skill you need to beat her is far, far higher than the skill she needs to beat you.

Pantheon enjoys laning against champions like Cassiopeia and Ryze. Kennen Akali Darius Fiora DrMundo Gnar Jayce Kled Neeko Renekton Rengar Riven Talon Tryndamere Udyr MonkeyKing Yasuo do reasonably well against her as well. She and Ryze both struggle with champions that have reliable, low cooldown all-in abilities or high frequency poke spells.

Playing a metric fuckton of cass, garen will absolutely ruin her day if he plans for it with both mr runes, grasp, and honestly whatever you want for secondary. Take your w second after your q and after like 3 solid waves of last hitting you have enough mr to just ignore her, especially with her being so mana hungry early. Rush an early adaptive or spirit (hell even leave it at spectres with mercs) and you can safely lane bully her ass out of farm.

The other champs don't really get as passively tanky as her, but if you start with sustain in mind you'll be fine, since her mana pool is weak af until her tear is moderately stacked, and her damage doesn't really come in until after her first finished item, especially if you itemize

Yeah, you prolly cant rush the same cookiecutter build that you usually do against toplaners, but the same goes for kennen, viktor, and the rest of the rough bunch, same as other lane bullies/ranged

i generally play an off-meta top laner(Nocturne), and have a really easy time with Cass. Rush a tiamats>1 shot every wave with Q+Umbrablades+tiamats>go roam. If Cass ever pushes passed the center of the lane, i can just ult her and unless her flash is up shes 100% dead.

I've only played against Cass as Darius twice but it wasn't so bad. I went phase rush, Dorans shield and second wind with double Mr rune stats.

Rushed item 3044 item 3156 item 3111 . After getting to her she can't get away lol.

Went item 3194 later and no longer took damage.

Play her and you'll see that half of the points you mentioned are pretty stupid. If a Cassiopeia just spams her Twin Fangs without poison debuff applied first, she will literally tickle you - seriously, the damage of it is on par with her auto attack - whilst simultaneously chugging through her mana. She can kite very effectively, but that is literally only due to the fact that she gains ms when she lands her Q, so um if she misses every single one, then there is no way you can't catch up to her...At all. Phase Rush is not sufficient to kite somebody to kill them solely through using Twin Fangs on non-poisoned targets because Phase Rush only lasts for 3 seconds and has a 15 second cd.

As for the Miasma change. You do realize, for most top laners, it was a buff right? They removed the minimum range on it but also reduced the maximum range, so now many top laners have a better chance at jumping on her since she can't land a max range Miasma. I don't think you have any clue what you're talking about; in this meta, a Miasma with a minimum range would be utterly useless against majority of champions.

Cassiopeia's Comet build was also recently nerfed due to allowing her to be a lane bully. As you can imagine, she's much less so now. Obviously she'll be able to bully melee champions purely out of having a ranged advantage early on.

I don't disagree that a well-played Cassiopeia is hard to deal with as a melee (non-assassin) champion, but implying that any random Cass can destroy any top laner is pure bs. Also, saying that she can just spam her abilities and doesn't need to land anything for her Twin Fangs quite frankly just shows you have no clue what you're talking about.

Cassiopeia is one of the easier ranged champs to deal with as a melee top since she has no gap closers and can actually be ganked. You want actual cancer to deal with? Try to play against Tristana. Dash onto her? She Ws away and kites you. Use another gapcloser to get onto her? She presses R and knocks you half a lane away but can still auto you and kite you because of her passive. Can't even gank her effectively most times because her W covers half of the lane. In addition, God knows why she has a needless reset mechanic on her W. And guess what? She doesn't even need to land anything to deal damage since she's AD. Only downside to her which is also somewhat an advantage is the fact that she has free aoe. Also scales really hard.

She has no mobility and can't take any kind of boots, until she's got some gold under her belt you can bully her just fine.
