So many living tumors infesting Ranked, making games near impossible to win unless the enemy have equal if not more severe growths dragging them down.

What even is the point of climbing anymore either while we're at it? What do you get? A more cluttered border and a mediocre skin? The chance to reach challenger for all of a few hours before some unlucky games demote you back down to masters or even lower? The opportunity to get scouted to play in one of Riot's oh so popular LCS where the gaming policy is "Play like a bitch all game because damage is so high you just need one rotation or less to kill the target?"

Ranked is a joke.

If they treat this season like the last, you'll need to acquire gold in flex, solo queue and twisted treeline to ensure you're eligible for all rewards.

I completely agree.

I queued up for ranked the other day. Had a 12 game losing streak nasus support in my lobby who troll banned our top's character. Someone dodged. I didn't feel like queuing again after.

It's just going to piss me off and eventually get me banned when I tell some kid to go fuck themselves.

I'd easily be plat, but am I willing to coin flip another 50 games or so? Nah.

First time placements should be more than 10 games in my opinion. Also I think there should be a division between gold and silver, because you know, GOLD shouldn't be associated with high SILVER LUL

Most people who are REALLY high silver aren't that much different from gold tbh. It's the fact that brand new players get put in mid/high silver that muddies the waters around the skills of high silver.

Gold's a kinda shitty elo. The game doesn't really get somewhat fun till like mid plat so. There's that.

Nobody knows what to do with their champ in low plat below so just pick S tier carry champs and kill everyone. It's a morale game, once someone gets behind they're gonna throw it for their team 8/10

But abusing a playstyle you might not like on a champ you might not like for weeks to months on end just to get into a situation which makes the game "somewhat fun" sounds like hella wasted time and bad game design imo. The rewards are ass too tbh.

Pretty sure bot lanes are always coin toss, regardless of elo. Now, how much their botlane can punish you when they stomp your botlane depends on elo, but botlanes are always a coin toss.

I just hit plat for the first time in my life :) started at silver 4 this season. Climbing is very much possible it's all mindset. I love this game.

what time do you play the game at? 10 pm to somewhere between 6 am and 1 pm tend to have the best hours because there are less younger players online

I rammed my head against the D5 promos a few times before I stopped giving a F. The plat/D border has the WORST games I have ever experienced and I am not so good that I can hard-carry them in spite of how my team plays. I think I could get diamond if I kept trying, but ew it felt so bad. Normals or smurfing is way more fun.
