Soraka isn't really OP, Supports are just garbage

I've seen a lot of people thinking soraka is OP recently, and while she is a little to strong, I think there are other greater issues that are making her seem OP.

Soraka is literally the only suppport that makes a truly game changing impact (assuming you aren't just wildly outplaying your opponent at all times). Yeah, other supports can make big plays or do certain things well but they don't have nearly as big an impact on the game (unless EXTREMELY well utilized) compared to soraka. She is a little overpowered but in all honesty, they just need to buff other supports that counter her so she isn't so oppressive in the bot lane. Leona for example would be a good champion against her but leona isn't very good right now because supports are underfed, underleveled (that's the big one) peel bots. You can barely even ward anymore and if you do try to become a warder (which still isn't as good as before sight stone update) you sacrifice even more stats to do so. Remember win rate largely compares how strong a champion is relative to their role, not necessarily actual game strength (you will have 1 winning and 1 losing support in every game, so whichever one has a slightly higher impact will overtime develop a higher winrate in such a large sample).

Tl;Dr Stop hating on soraka, shes probably a little to strong but her issues largely stem from not being able to counter her due to poor botlane diversity and weak supports as a role.

Soraka is good because of threat. When you think of target priority, the ADC is generally at the top, with the Midlaner second, top, jungle, and then support (VERY GENERALLY). I main support, and I have played the role since season 2, and have always loved Soraka. Ever since her rework, she has been the only Support in the game who actually takes threat priority from the ADC. It's not because she's OP. It's because that's what her entire kit is designed to do. That is what she brings to a team. Her ADC won't die until she does. Her entire kit is geared towards this. And not in a way like Janna who can bring utility to a team such as CC and move speed bonuses, while being a very effective peeler/protector at the same time. Making sure her ADC doesn't doesn't die is LITERALLY all she does. That's why her ability to perform that job needs to be high. Because if not for that ability, she brings nothing but a weak cc to a team. I don't think she's OP. She simply has big strengths and big weaknesses.
