Why does untargetable even exist?

Did someone get really drunk at riot HQ one day and go "I bet I can make something more broken than invisibility"?

Most of them add literally no strategic value to the game and are just used as a copout for actual skillful play (kayn)

Untargetable moves should deal NO DMG. As they already have the best mechanic in the fucking game attached to them. Which riot doesnt seem to recognize

Actually, they're not the best.

Invisibility, Untargetability, and Invulnerability all have different uses.

Invis means you can't be seen or targeted by point and clicks.

Untargetability means you can't be hit by anything, including AoEs, however, you're still damaged by effects already on you, and they're all visible, so you still know where they are.

Invulnerability means you take no damage from anything except Fountain Obelisk, but you can still be hit by things, and can still be CC'd.

They all have roughly equal power in terms of use.
