AD itemization is a bit egregious

Just my personal opinion but I think AD items are out of control lately. They get zileans ulti on a passive? Superfluous lifesteal (so many options, AND YOU CAN DOUBLE UP!!), easy access to penetration (once again, SO MANY OPTIONS!), and crazy passive abilities (i.e duskblade instantly kills pink wards or, well, any ward. built in spellshield, reduced damage taken). Just saying but give ap some love. In my opinion you guys just murdered ap items and left ad items busted.

If I had the choice I would make building a lifesteal item preclude the others. Noone needs to have a deaths dance and a ravenous hydra WITH a god damned guardian angel. Its egregious.

Well there are some things that ap items have that ad items don’t. item 3157 and item 2423 both cause you to become invulnerable and untargetable for a short time, if it is timed correctly your team can easily get to you and save you from who even is trying to kill you. And I am pretty sure that Liandry’s passive is also unique, as in no other AD items have it. Also don’t forget item 3089 which increases your ap by 40%, which would be way too broken on an ad item. I think that Seraph’s Embrace is the only item that gives you a shield based on your mana.

Sure there are some passive that ad items have that ap items don’t have but you get my point right?

usually an adc or other ad champ would not build guardian angel from stopwatch.

Uhhh. ADs build stopwatch into a REVIVE that makes you come back at full health. And AD champs have STERAKS. Which gives like what +25% ad (edit: its +50% ad.) ? AND a huge shield.

Edit: im actually literally laughing cause you say a rabadons like effect would be way too broken on an ad item. but there IS AN AD ITEM THAT HAS THAT ABILITY.

Well I am sorry if I did not memorize the effects of each item in the entire game, but ok. I was going to say something but I have a feeling that you will be super stubborn and not listen and try to flame me.

EDIT: I said “I have a feeling that you WILL” in this comment so that doesn’t mean it will happen. I used the future tense and you do know that the future is not a guaranteed set thing.

I am not saying that You did not prove me wrong. I just want you to understand that I was trying to show you other points besides the one that you said, which painted the picture that AD champs are extremely versatile and that ap builds hold nothing unique with the items that were designed for them

Don’t quote me on this but I believe that there is no AD items that increase your total ad by 40%. Steracks just increases your BASE ad by only 25%. And the shield is honestly not that over powered, yeah 75% of BONUS health is a lot on tanks and bruisers but the full shield only lasts .75 sec before it decays over 3 sec. This item helps with dealing with burst, but it is usually not powerful enough if the entire enemy team is focusing on you.

And just btw guardian angel revives you with 50% of your BASE health, so on a bruiser with a lot of bonus health he will only get 1/4 or 1/3 of his health back. Which is also kinda bad on squishies cause they will be revived with 50% of their max health, but there would be somebody that bursted them down nearby to then repeat the process and insta kill the squishy.
