This isn't a Katarina QQ thread, it's more of a slight change idea.

Katarina, being and extremely damage-heavy assassin, needs to be fed to shred teams, it's how she works. Additionally, her gameplay feel of "jump in kill stuff and jump out" kind of dies in the sense that she has to stand still while ulting.

Though the problem is if she isn't fed it's near impossible to get a kill come mid/late game, because her ult forces her to be stationary.

Her ult, being able to do up to 1k-2k dmg (depending on the time and items during the match) forces her to be stationary, and the damage is dealt in approximately 2 seconds, without item 3116 , champions mid/late game, even if they don't have a stun, can just walk out of her ult.

What I'm proposing, to make her a bit more relevant assuming she's stayed 0/0 during the laning phase, is to give here extremely slow movement during her ult. To put it in perspective, almost like a maxed nasus slow movement speed. So she can decide whether she wants to move towards the rest of the team for more damage, or move towards the squishy attempting to run away for 1 kill, possibly costing her her life.

So in a match it would look somewhat like this:

Kat jumps in after the enemy team uses their cc, and ults after using her combo, after she starts ulting, her movespeed lowers to 100 and she can move while ulting, assuming she's not cc'd. She would move incredibly slow, but quick enough to get an extra tick of her ult out, maybe two if she's really stacking on that movement speed.

I feel like these changes would give more interesting build paths as well, considering you could go for extra movespeed to get their team in your ult for a longer amount of time, or go for damage, and try to burst everyone with the first .5 seconds of your ult.
