Why is Riot taking away skill expression from supports on PBE?

If you are not aware already Riot has removed from PBE and replaced their quest passives with "sightstone" and only allows you to obtain their guardian upgrades

Although it may not seem like much, but managing item actives and knowing when to use them is an important skill for supports. It also makes the support role feel more than a ward bot. Items like make support feel impactful and are a big part of why I enjoy the role. If Riot really thinks the support role is too strong right now they should hit because they don't make me feel like I do anything in support besides help the adc stat check better.

Support is already considered "easy" by a good portion of the community. There is no reason it should be considered brain dead now that the game basically autobuys sightstone for you and makes it feel worse to play.
