Azir 4.18 Nerfs?

Azir was one of my favorite champions upon his release. Honestly I've never taken to a new champion quite as much as I did with Azir. However since playing him in 4.18 he's felt nerfed in quite a few small ways. It has nothing to do with his damage output and everything to do with his range.

TL:DR Azir's Q and W's ranges have been severally hit and thus have effected his core gameplay mechanics. This was not brought up in the patch notes of 4.18. I'm asking for not a revert to the ranges but for them to be extended so that Azir can maintain the idea of being an emperor who sends soldiers to battle instead of having to be so close to his soldiers to order them he might as well be whispering in their ears. Hopefully a Red will see this and look into it.

Azir's Q, when activated in 4.17, had a deceptive target indicator. Sometimes soldiers wouldn't go to the max distance indicated. However in 4.18 Azir's soldiers can just barely hop forward. The only way to get them to go any sizable distance away form Azir, is for Azir to stand next to them. If Azir is to do that during laning then he needs to stand at his melee minions to command his soldiers to go to the enemy caster minions. Meanwhile 4.17 Azir could command his soldiers to go from his caster minions to enemy caster minions. I understand that his ability to do that is huge but at the same time that was the point of the champion. To have exceptionally long range. Is was fundamental for harass as well as farming.

Azir's W has gone through similar problems. The range before was deceptively too large and not always accurate. Now though, it's slightly shorter. On it's own not too bad. Combined with the shortened range of the Q though and you can no longer harass let alone farm from a safe distance.

Azir's R has a simple bug. Sometimes when activated it's not as responsive. By this I mean I can hit R and the indicator for the ult will not pop up. I've had this happen to me numerous times and has resulted in my death in each time. I'm sure this is an easier way to test and fix then the others or might even already be on your radar.

Azir still needs attention from Riot. Despite the Azir bug fixes in the recent patch I still have noticed the same bugs, but with less frequency of occurrence.

W E combo is still not fluid enough. (he has to go through his animation of summoning the minion sometimes before he will dash to it.) Q will be on cooldown, but will display it as ready to cast. R does not always knock people to the front of the shield wall. W auto attacks will sometimes attack when first summoned without commanded. W auto attacks will sometimes attack and do no dmg W auto attacks will not always proc when target is in W Circle.

Question: As long as I am tethered to a sand warrior shouldn't I be able to attack anything that comes into the circle? There are times when Azir will move forward as if to get into range instead of just telling his sand warrior to attack those in the circle. If there is a hidden range on this please make it known. I'm tired of walking forward just to have my sand warrior attack someone who was in my circle at the time I issued the command to attack.

Question: Does Nashor's Tooth passive of bonus AP dmg on aa work with my sand warriors? If not why not.

Azir is my new favorite champion, but he still needs attention.

I've noticed some range differences with his Q as well. Not sure what happened there.
