I know I'm such a noob asking all these questions, but when I hear laning phase idk if it's when your turret is destroyed or when turret plating falls off.

Laning is before any turrets fall.

Once one turret falls and that lane moves to another lane, laning is over and mid game has started.

Jungle has to change how they play to stop the enemy from invading the jungle or if its your team that took a turret, to start invading the enemies jungle.

Grouping to push another lane to get that turret and or to setup to take Dragon, RH or Baron.

Loosely defined as the time when everyone for the most part stays in their lanes.

Usually ends when a tower is destroyed in one lane and the laners start roaming, which begins midgame.

when your turret is destroyed or when turret plating falls off.

It's before those things, when players are all tending to stick to their lanes and only dealing with minions and their lane opponent. When towers fall then players tend to move around more and that's what we associate with the mid game.

Usually laning phase is dictated as the period before midgame skirmishes and late game teamfights and is categorized by having all turrets up in every lane and plating still being active. Once a turret falls in a lane, its not uncommon for that to signify the end of laning phase for the entire map as the now freed up laner is going to or should be at least roaming. The only exception I find for this is Botlane. On occasion bot lane will remain bot lane even after the turret has fallen because they can't really actively get objectives somewhere else; either mid has a champion with really good wave clear or top is behind and couldn't take a 1v2 while bot tried to push for top turret with a jungler. Normally Mid and Top want to start roaming once their turret is gone, however and this does indicate an end to laning phase and a start to mid game skirmishing.

it is the first 15 minutes of a game and is usually the deciding factor of a game (according to other players). and if the laning phase is a bust then they don't want to bother with the rest of the game and surrender.
