Problem with Akali is not her W

It's her passive.

Yeah i know having a assassin who uses "hit and run tactics" is a great fantasy, but its not working in the game.

If Akali hits you with Q she can run away with 500 MS which makes trading back impossible, and when she is in a safe range she gains another speed boost and empowered attack, which makes escaping from her impossible and you cant trade back since she will win harder if you stay closer.

Change her passive to a 15ish second cooldown and remove ring system, so we can have a healthier assassin. Or just remove speed boosts.

Problem with Akali is the fact that she is an assasin that gets a 3 second chance to either wait for cooldowns or just simply avoid all your abilities

Problem with Akali is that her Q has 1.5 cooldown with no CDR

Problem with Akali is that she has no counter play to her W

Problem with Akali is that her damage is way too high

Problem with Akali is that she has sustain, something that a healthy assassin should not have built into their kit

Problem with Akali is that she shouldnt even exist

Problem with Akali: She is the benchmark for all champions nowadays. Multiple dashes, no chance to counterplay, too much damage, too safe, too good of chance, too much snowballing. That is what they are doing with all champions now.

Yes what you said is true that her passive is a problem, but her passive + w + r make her more of a bruiser than an assassin. The solution isn't good though.
