So, Enchantments are a success.
They were added for boots. Some of them aren't used much, it's mostly just homeguards and the +20MS, but they're all viable.
Then they were added to jungler items. True, it's kind of cheating, but I mean, it still works.
Now what else could use enchants?
I'm thinking sightstone. I've seen some people say it should have an upgraded item. Some people are concerned it would make it too good. Well lets go for a compromise, and give sightstone enchants. At the very least, it would make it a nice addon for supports. Heck, it could be like Cinderhulk or have fun little support-y bonuses.
After that, I'm thinking Doran's items. Now I know what you're thinking. "Why would you add enchants to Doran's? They're supposed to be amazing but scale badly." Well sir, I agree. I'm thinking these enchants could be used in place of buying another, or for a little piece of utility you can't get anywhere else. Why can't you upgrade Doran's Blade to have a 1-2% mana return on damage, like a mini Essense Reaver but actually useful? Every champion I know needs that passive pre 6, and there is no way you are getting ER before that. Why can't you give Doran's ring just a tiny version of Luden's Ekko for a few hundred g? Why not let you pick between more damage reduction from spells or auto attacks separately for Doran's Shield if that Ryze or Tryndamere is getting a little too oppressive too soon.
Tell me what you think, and give some of your own ideas. Have they gone too far with enchants already? Not far enough?
