mastery gain is bullshit

when i work my absolute ass off to get an S and my team trolls and we lose i get 100 mp. when I play like shit, get a B, and win, i get 1000 MP. because according to riot, winning a team-based game is more influential to your individual champion mastery than how you performed ingame. well done.

You said it yourself. Its a team based game not you-and-four-others vs 5

I mean it kind of makes sense. People can carry those games with trolls, its hard as hell dont get me wrong, but if you're good with said champion, your winrate should be positive and you should be gaining more of the "1000's" than the 100's, but i get why this could be frusterating.

All those people that defend this system.

I automatically assume you believe it's harder to get a B in a victory than an S in a defeat.

Think about that for a second.

yeah but doing good is meaningless if u cant put it to any good use which is actually winning the game

Who cares about mastery points... They are useless.

You're getting smarter.

Mastery, S grades, are a distraction. The goal of the game is winning and there may be cases where grade-relevant activity is counterproductive.
