This just made me think (part 3b)..is Riot finally taking our frustration into account?

While the answer is more less this: It depends on how many complaints about that certain topic.

For a champions that's being banned mostly due to 1 ability, regardless of if you are good or bad, this is something that i would put on my list of badly designed champions. While the changes is mostly with her stealth, I don't know if other changes will happen with her other abilities.

3:10 "Akali is suffering, she's suffering from horrible ban ratios, she's suffering from really low power at certain elos and she's suffering from a lot of power from higher up. Which causes issues all over the place." Said by a Rioter. Well duh! But do you know why? I'll tell you why: It's because a designer didn't bother to ask himself if what he's adding is going to be healthy for the game or not. 6:42 "Riot does say that they are going to be changing Akali, it's just inevitable, Riot cant continue having this champion exist. I'm guessing that a lot of people are genuinely quitting league when they go against Akali like, it's a type of champion that just gets you so angry when you play against it. You get dove under the turret by a moderately experienced Akali and then it's just "okay i don't want to play this game anymore until this is over with" just like some of the other ridiculous things in League of Legends. Just on eof those things too pressuring to play against."

• Prof Akali Well, you're not exactly wrong. How much of a scale that this is happening, I don't know. But it's a problem too. I'm guilty of dodging in champ select when i see Akali on enemy champ select and even rage quit when playing against her, unless jungler is nice enough to babysit me, or if i play Urgot top (my secondary main for top lane, my primary is Vel'Koz mid).

9:10 "all the Akali mains are saying, Akali should get reverted back and i'm saying it too." -TFblade Yeah, no. If fully reverted, where you have to just role your head and get a penta? No thanks. Much unhealthier than the one. If by certain abilities like W? Yeah i agree. I don't know what specifics he meant, but i said my part on both possible sides of what revert he meant.

Anyway, Riot will revert or change Akali's W. Meddler basically said this: "We're looking at it. Opinion is split internally on whether supporting stealth under towers is the way to go or not. We're doing some experimentation with a set of changes internally right now. Update to follow once those have helped resolve which direction we'll go."

Meddler....here's a little of something. Of course stealth shouldn't also help against turrets! What is the point of true sight then? Even if "obscure"? That mechanic/ability is possibly the most toxic and unhealthiest thing I've ever seen in my life. Just because it looks cool on paper, doesn't mean it will be cool when it comes to life.

Turrets are supposed to be the only thing immune to any form of stealth, that a structure that can't be fooled and will attack you with punches that says "nice try! But it won't work with me!"

Turrets are supposed to be the eagle eye fortresses that hugging them like a teddy bear is one of the counterplay vs assassins, and Akali's W is like a big disrespectful cheat code since turrets can't attack her. If turrets are able to reveal but can't attack, is it really a reveal?

True sight counters stealth at any form, and then true stealth to like what...counter the eagle eyes? What's next? True armor/magic resist to counter true damage? As a Vel'Koz main, if such thing even happens, i'd quit this game for good! Like that doesn't even make sense! This is some next level of what happens when an unstoppable force goes against an immovable object.

Alright back to the point. Now how the change for Akali's W will be is beyond me. But if i had to make the call, i'd go with the revert and have Akali's W be a normal stealth (with the shape of new W of course), still countered by eagle eye turrets.
