Poll: Is the refund on runes a "Gift" or is it a scam/not enough

Yeah I'm not getting all my IP back, but runes are becoming free, so I dont have much to complain about.

I was questioning my compensation on all the RP on spent on rune pages because I have all 20. But they just announced what they're doing so I'm getting 4 or 5 epic skins and keeping the pages. I'll take it XD

Its a blatant scam.

Personally, I think it's not enough. For players that spend all RP on their rune pages and also those who have all the champions, all the blue essence is just gonna sit and rot into that special store is gonna open up...what? once a year? and then hope there are skins or something I like there...plus more emotes for people to spam in game? I dunno...maybe it will work out and I'll like it, I can't really bash it until it's out but right now I don't like the concept of it and I do think it's not enough.

It's none of those things. It's a dick move. A refund would imply full value returned. A scam would imply trickery though it does have a hint of scam like nature for those who purchased rune pages. (couple mystery skins instead of rp to buy something they'd actually like enjoy those mediocre skins for champs you don't like) And it would be one joke of a reward.

honestly i understand that IP costs money for riot and they can't give us 100% refund

Well, the public opinion is that it's a scam. And it's simple why that is: People are never pleased. They always want more. That's just the way a large group thinks.

I don't think this refund is bad, or not enough. I think it's just right. They are trying to solve the problem of having too much IP/Essence and the fact that you will gain all benefits from future runes without having to pay anything at all goes a very long way.

People are complaining that the 150k Urfwick skin is "too expensive" and "wtf are they thinking" but these people haven't even watched the video about these changes or read the article properly. If everybody should be able to get the skin then they wouldn't call it something for veteran players to dump their essnce into.

And most importantly: THese people are always forgetting that with this IP sink gone, there is nothing left to spend them on but champions and mastery levels. It would only make sense that they'd either increase the amount of IP needed to buy a champion OR, and they went with this, change the system how this currency is acquired & reduce the gains of it. You are simply not going to need the same amount of IP to play this game

I'm going to get over 100k Essence from this change and I'm missing 9 champions. I don't need 100k to buy 9 champions I'm never going to play.
