Is it the top laner's job to ward the enemy jungle?

So I played top lane when my jungler flames me for not warding the enemy jungle. He said it is my job to ward and I was the reason why he got caught out. I think it is his job to ward the jungle because if i do go deep to place wards, I will miss cs and get caught out myself if the enemy jungler was there. What do you guys think? Should the top laner be responsible for warding the enemy jungle?

maybe if certain conditions are met you could drop a ward in top side of the enemy jungle, but it is not top lanes sole responsibility to ward the enemy jungle, if they do it at all its more of a bonus.

It is the laners drop to control vision of the river.

It is far too risky foe a top laner tp place deep wards alone.

If anything, the mid lane cam throw a ward at raptors.
