Riot, how bad will soraka get nerfed when the new redemption item comes out?

i just want to know why Soraka has such a hate boner when Janna does the same "super passive" playsytyle and is fine.... but probably raka will be nerfed alot

Because Janna doesn't invalidate trading and you can play around her abilities. Soraka is like herpa derpa we win da trde caz I pras batton aftr ovr.

I think its because Janna's Q and R have some really impactful and obvious effects if used properly. Most of Soraka's power is kind of "invisible" and frustrating. Sometimes you don't even notice who Soraka is healing in a teamfight.

Also Janna's shield has to be used either reactively or proactively, so there are plenty of chances for interaction with the enemy team, like poking aggressively when you know Janna's shield is on cooldown or backing off for a few seconds when you see an aggressive use of shield. If you successfully poke when the shield is down the damage onto the opponent's health bar it stays there, unlike with Soraka.

Soraka's heal is useful both in combat and out of combat and because of the low cooldown at higher ranks there's not much you can really do about it in terms of counterplay except maybe buy a item 3123 . Soraka could be half asleep while her ADC is taking a bunch of poke damage but as long as the ADC doesn't die Soraka is going to heal them up anyway.

Now I'm not saying that it is acceptable for Soraka to be left in her current state but that's usually their line of thinking.

Yes she shouldn't be left in her current state. She keeps getting nerfed so hard, where are the buffs? I don't want her to turn into kalista.
