I use to play the older
before his most recent rework. I use to flex him to top and support and by the end of season 5 I almost only played him at support.
After the mini-rework I lost interest in the champion. I really liked his old Q providing sustain in laning. His older kit made him an adequate support and now he can't play that role really at all.
After a few weeks of playing the new Shen I found that he was objectively better, but just not quite as fun. I stopped playing him completely, but this might be due to me shifting completely to
for the top lane.
I also use to play a lot of
before she was slightly tweaked. After the mini-rework her win rate was so high she was banned in almost every ranked game I played. I pretty much could only play her in blind pick and I had try out other supports to compensate for her being banned everygame. I play her a lot less now and have gravitated towards
after using her as a sub for when
was frequently banned.
I also use to play
before the mid season update. I wasn't great with him, but I absolutely hated the changes to his ultimate. I like everything else about the changes with the passive, but they basically removed his mana regen (which I really liked). I played him for maybe a month and I just kept mistiming the ultimate and not using it like an execute on the right targets with lower health pools.
I have almost given up playing him because I feel he takes a little too long now to scale with his ultimate not scaling off enemy AP.
Funny when writing this post I didn't think I had played enough champions or long enough for riot reworks to change the champions I played. Sure enough I had two that I have almost completely stopped playing.
