Why not make league all (Mostly) skillshot based?!?!??!?!?!?!?!??!

Why doesn't Riot make most abilities skill shots? There are certain things needed to be point and click like a heal and ulti. Some other champions like Q and Q seem a little unfair that they are point and click. It's the reason Q was made into a skill shot and even Q was made a skillshot. I feel like most projectiles should be skill shots and that league would be better off with a majority of skill shots. Tell me a good reason why making most projectiles skillshots would be bad? (I'm sure there's a few Projectiles that would be useless if not point and click and are needed to be point and click)
