Yasuo is still an incredibly strong dueler and late game carry. He also has that illaoi charateristic of being able to make ganks go wrong with his two person ultimate and kiting.

He's not like yi where he basically 1v5s and then gets locked down to obilivion, yasuo is actually strong all stages of the game and in grouped fights with his windwall and ultimate lockdown.

Camping a yasuo works, but you shouldn't have to camp a champion inorder to have any hopes of laning against it. Even Vayne vs. Nasus has a better laning phase where nasus can just slowly gain under tower stacks and 100-0 vayne with 2 Qs.
