30 FPS Limit

I use a laptop as my main gaming computer. It's a pretty good computer, I haven't found a game yet that it can't run at 60 FPS. But I have this weird issue with league, I think it's something in my computers settings but I'm not sure how to change it.

When I have my laptop plugged in, and set to balanced/High performance power setting, league runs flawlessly at 60 FPS, with no frame drops at all. But if I ever try to play league when my laptop is NOT plugged in, no matter what setting my power is on (Even high performance) League caps at 30 FPS, and won't go any higher.

This is the only game that I have this issue with, no other game causes me to lose frames just because my laptop isn't plugged in. Anyone have any ideas?

I don't know. I would say you have different settings programmed for when your computer is not plugged in. I know that you say even on "high" performance, but sometimes the computer is set to have different settings, even on "high" for when plugged in or not. If I unplug my machine, it also runs fairly meh.
