Yasuo wrecking Kata like a blowtorch through rice paper

So, I main Kat or Azir mid most days. I played Kat mid for the past two games (both against Yasuo), and just got destroyed. Just completely annihilated. Kat and Yasuo are supposed to be somewhat equal, although I felt Yasuo snowballed pretty dang fast. Other than poking with q and occasionally using a more risky combo e,w than flash out (pre -6) are there any tried and true ways to control the lane as a Kat or is turret hugging the best way to go?

As long as you dont engage when he has a tornado prepared, Katarina takes a massive dump all over Yasuo.

He cant do anything to stop your harass early. And if he ever comes in range to last hit, a Q-W will chunk him for far more than his Q will hurt you.

Start cloth 5 and laugh at his damage.

The only real dangers, as i mentioned, are him tornadoing your ult, and him windwalling your ult. But using his windwall would require absolutely godlike reflexes, and anything short should still let you get in about half of the damage.
