Making TP Plays Early Is Actually Pointless

TP ganks RARELY ever work these days. It's literally pointless trying to make an early play with TP unless your laners have a VERY deep ward and the enemy team is legit under your tower. The only thing it does is set you so far behind your laner (especially if you're making a TP play trying to catch up from a losing lane) it's almost never worth it.

So then, why should you even take TP?

Honestly, it's only a safety measure if you screw up early or get poked extra hard and need to head back to lane early. TP plays really are only useful for securing objective these days and taking them on carry champs some times could actually be really bad.

Maybe you're just not good at it? I never take tp top because I personally know I'm bad at it.

I know I'm no good at it. It still doesn't mean that early game TP plays are terrible to try and accomplish anything with. And if you and your laner are around lvl 7 or so, it's just that much worse as leaving your lane just further puts you in a bad spot.

If you're not successful, that could be a tower top.

It's good if the jungler goes too and you can set up a dive and quickly take the first tower, then stay bot and let your bot lane go too.

If you take TP, you do cede early power, but it's a fantastic late-game summoner than can do more than secure objectives. TP+Homeguards is still a thing, even if the Homeguard wears off once you deal damage.

You can take Ignite or Exhaust if you prefer the early laning and fighting power, but Teleport shouldn't be underrated. Even early game, you can TP back to your lane to make sure you keep up in farm.

I'm honestly only talking about the early game aspect of TP. Though, if people are not overly greedy, running away from a TP gank is more easy to do than not

Not true, I was killed by a J4 tping into the top of the bot lane bush (furthest from me/my tower). We were right next to the bush (not in front), I put Chompers on the ward which snared him, but then since J4 can E+Q during snares, and he had lvl 6, he caught up to me and ulted me, I died, even after flashing.

Their Sona had to back but we lost the turret anyway. Even though we were pushed up before hand.
