@Rito - Bring back Sightstone pls!

All supports have the ability to get a free sightstone now. It's not an issue of the item, it's an issue of your supports.

Totally unrelated, but as a support main who sees people with obscenely low vision scores: Always remember to use your own wards and sweepers to help out the team. Warding is the job of the entire team, even if the majority of it relies on the support.

I very much preferred players having to go out of their way to purchase a sightstone opposed to getting it for free -- making it our decision whether we'll trade vision for power vice versa.

It's disgusting that the enemy midlaner gets his Duskblade before I get my wards.

So.. Riot decided that primary vision responsibility lies on Support role. I disagree with this. That's what they decided.

Riot has made many decisions recently around linking roles to responsibilities - ex: smite required for jungle items, the almost requirement to be a support to get a support item thus the warding item, etc.

Riot has two options - either reverse these lane/role locks, or continue with them. I'm personally curious to see what they do if they continue - as I think that they have a longer term plan in mind that may span even beyond Season 9 itself (into Season 10) that will cause League to become much better. But we will have to wait and see.

I can say that it's more likely one of us gets struck by lightning than Riot reverts role-locking at this time.

The huge problem with sight-stone is that if the item exists it becomes REQUIRED for supports to HAVE to buy when they flat out don't want to. It was very toxic towards the supports and Riot FINALLY got rid of it. I'm all for Riot adding more warding potential into the game like the old jg item that gave wards, but please no more sight-stone. Never again.
