Tahm Kench: What Happened?

Tahm Kench (the River King) - Champions - League of Legends

I feel like ever since they nerfed him left & right, I personally can't play this champion anymore in any role (I like him support, but will take him elsewhere if Dynamic Queue decides to give me my Secondary pick). Sure people who pick him in LCS or people in higher ELO will definitely play him better, but I'd hate to give up hope on this champion because I lack the skill to play him efficiently. Sure, I know his weaknesses & will look into other supports if the team comp calls for it, but I love this champion overall (Game play, theme & that Voice acting). Granted that he was always a huge pain the ass if the enemy team chose him, but you can always beat him in champion select by picking a someone who can either poke or disengage (That or play carefully). According to Lolking & a few other sites, his current win rate ranges below 45% percent. I'm going to keep trying to play him & hopefully something positive comes out of it. Last time I gave up hope & completely abandoned a Champion, it was Shaco & he eventually became one of my favorite assassin's after I finally got a grasp for him. Do I think Tahm Needs a buff? Not if it completely makes it so he has a +53% winrate (Taric & Soraka both have winrates of around 53% at the time of this post), just enough so he isn't garbage tier in lower ELO. I would lower the damage on his W, then revert all of the other nerfs. Period.

The community cried and Riot nerfed him to oblivion when he was already in a good state after the first nerfs.

tbh tahm was op during preseason, but only had a winrate of about 50-51%. once some popular youtubers/ streamers saw how strong he was in the top lane all the fotm players started playing him. people hated going against him because he was super oppresive after and even before he hit level 6. riot kind of went overboard with nerfing him 3-4 patches in a row. it also turns out that tahm has a higher learning curve than ryze atm. to have a +50% winrate on ryze, you need to have played about 20 games with him. while if you play tahm, you need closer to 35. the nerfs to tahm were aimed at his top lane power, but really hurt his supporting power as well. most high elo players (unless premade or lcs) wont pick him because hes just not as strong as other supports now.

tl:dr: he kinda needs some small buffs to be relevant again. (i got 140k mastery on tahm, i know what im talking about)

They should buff his mama costs by making his R free and reduce his eat ability mana cost by 15
