@Riot My Beef with Ohm Wrecker
Okay so lets talk about Ohm Wrecker cause I got a bone to pick.
Don't get me wrong, I don't doubt Ohm Wrecker's usefulness as an item because of its use for its active. Its because of the fact I never get the chance to use it.
In my games that I get the opportunity to buy it or rush it, the scenarios I'm coming across is that one too many things happen outside and away from towers.
It is also that me and my team are either trying to defend our base because the enemy team is breathing down our necks at our nexus already since we're behind or it is that my team has already taken down all of the towers down to their nexus already which we are about to win the game.
By this time that I get Ohm wrecker it is so late in the game that it is already too late to make real full use of it.
I feel like Ohm Wrecker has to be broken up into pieces and be made real real cheap so it can be brought to use in its niche category with tweaks.
What I mean by this is, I think it has to be item tier on par with something like
Glacial Shroud level or even more comparable to something like
Bilgewater Cutlass.

Isn't super strong on its own, sure it has some stats but it is one of the few early tier items that actually has an active on it.
Its in my opinion that Ohm Wrecker needs to be on par of an early item that gets you access to the tower active but on a first combined tier item level to ramp up its effectiveness. After that then we can create a new combined higher tier item that maybe can see a better reduced cooldown or something a little additive to the active/passive?
That would take care of that issue involving the problem with getting the item way too late in the game when there is so little to no towers on the enemy team.
The next issue to tackle is dealing with the times in between that I find you're never getting the full use of the passive/active when you're not in lane at the towers because so many objectives and fights and other stuff goes on in the majority of games.
It has to do with the item being stand alone, assuming that no items have actives or its current tower passive. What is it this item (or combined) gives to you in the mean time when you're making it used for its purpose?
Yes Ohm Wrecker has CDR, yes it has HP and some Regen. But what if it had some tiny amount of raw Movement speed like what
Aether Wisp or
Twin Shadows gets? Nothing extreme, just something for those times you get to use the raw stats of the item when you aren't by towers in lane since alot happens in a game.
I don't want to be seeing Ohm Wreckers in every game, don't get the wrong impression. But I do want to give it a chance for a niche item to succeed, I just think it needs a little love and tweaking on the subject in question of why it has problems in the current environment.
