Buff Aatrox or remove from game, hes clogging up the champion select screen.
Anyone that disagree's he needs buffed and think hes equal with mediocre champions, has an uneducated and/or delusional/inferior opinion.

Like all champions you just need to find a way to fully utilize their kit. Aatrox is a powerful split-push champion or even good at diving. He isn't in need of any major buffs right now but maybe could receive a small utility buff like a large boost of movement speed that decays after he uses Dark Flight. With 45% CDR that takes his Q CD to 6.6 when maxed, doing this would improve his ability to mainly escape or chase down an enemy when split pushing. By the way with the addition of the new rageblade he is now stronger.

I went against a REALLLLLY good Aatrox this morning.
I went Nord top with ghost and heal.
Aatrox outsustained my burst Outsustained my ult Outsustained my Q, even with a bunch of mixed damage, AS and CDR
COULD OUTSUSTAIN MY WHOLE KIT DUMP, burst, and massive healing EVEN WHEN I HAD HEAL SPELL UP.

maybe its because he was a lane bully All the ganks the enemy jungler kept bringing to my lane when I didnt have a gank at all Or even maybe because Aatrox began to dive under tower at 6 and OUTSUSTAINED EVEN THE TOWER DAMAGE PLUS MY WHOLE KIT AND MINOINS.
Lets not forget his built in Gaurdian Angel passive.

I really think that happened because of the shit load of ganks the enemy gave me, getting Aatrox fed.
Im not saying Aatrox is broken or OP, but massive buffs? No, thatd be bad for the mains. Hed get Olafed soon after if that happened. Hed be too OP.
I personally think Aatrox is cool. Ive played him, hes neat, but good only if you've mastered the skill cap. If not, he seems weak, but he really isn't if played right.
I agree that Aatrox' kit is exremely bland and generic.
However he's kinda like some of the prework champions like Sion. He's not that weak actually.
His consistency is pretty shaky though. All kinda depends on what you're up against.
Aatrox feels no more innovative than
Another right-click champion who has zero "outplay" potential. Another low-rank on the difficulty scale. Either you're getting your super cool build and right clicking everyone to death or you're behind and might as well just backdoor the rest of the game.
The thing about champions like 
is that EVEN IF they are behind, their kits can be utilized by a good player to out-play an enemy for a kill. Not just relying on "on im fed now i deal more damage than you so you should die before me".
Those champions have outplay potential. They can win vs an enemy like Aatrox whos ahead by outplaying him. Aatrox on the other hand cant do that. He just has to right click as much as he can. "come here so i can right click you more". Thats his kit. Thats why his difficulty level is so low. You're just relying on farming, and getting those early kills to help deal more damage later on because lets face it, you're not outplaying anyone.
How many "Best Aatrox Plays" are out there on youtube or whatever? Like zero. There are no plays you can make with him. The only "Outplay" potential or plays a player can make with Aatrox is the same AS ANY CHAMPION. Any "play" an aatrox player makes can be done by ANY champion because it has nothing to do with Aatrox' kit. Maybe the player dodged a skillshot and then... idk... baited the enemy into a bush or some crap lol. Its nothing to do with his kit.
He'd be cancerous to play against. He's already hard to kill because of his W, 2 AS steroids to help him proc it, and a revive passive on top of that. Now imagine what it would be like to fight him if he did damage.
Agree 100 percent. I have nearly 1000 ranked matches as Aatrox and while I can win because of my skill with him, he is lacking in some areas. For kicks, I rush Frozen mallet now, beserker greaves, Thornail if up against strong AD, or Maw next. I have found that the mallet really helps him not be so squishy and stick to targets, which is important because he has to keep attacking to heal. It also helps lock them down for ganks. Try it. You will get flamed but I think its great. I start with AS runes, so the greaves are enough until I can get a BOTRK later on.
