None of the things you say are trolling, they're called playing champions that people are comfortable with.
There are 100+ champions, 100+ items, 5+ summoner spells, 100s of masteries combinations, 1000s of runes combinations... And you're trying to tell me that there's never an opportunity for those other champions? The meta is complete bullshit. It only exists to make people feel better about their picks.
In any ELO below Diamond, it's more important to play a champion well than it is to play the meta. The meta doesn't mean crap until you get into high Diamond/Master/Challenger/professional play.
