What is the problem with Lethality?
I thought lethality was just armor penetration, but weaker at earlier levels. What makes it a problem now?
(I haven't really played any of the assassins yet, so I don't know what made them so powerful)

Basically, they added third source for it (Edge of Night) and the items have very powerful bonuses (on-demand spell-shield, out-of-combat movement speed, bonus true damage).
Edge of Night is the main issue. The item is far too strong in its current state.
It's always had a third source eon is the what maw was except weaker
They increased the values from 20+10+10=40 to 20+15+15=50 for Youmuu, Duskblade and Edge/Maw.
Even though lethality scales with the opponent's level, Edge of Night and Duskblade offer more armor penetration from the moment they are purchased than their predecessors.
They improved the items' effects too.
Yes and they decreased the ammounts to 60% of total lethality and you get 2.2% more armor pen for every level your enemy goes up by.
It is reduced by 60% if your opponent is level one. For EoN and Duskblade, that is still an improvement over their previous values even if the target is only level ~3.
By the time you would normally purchase the item, they have already long surpassed the previous values.
yoummu's never breaks even until 18 and maw and eon break even with their armor pen equals at lvl 9 now i dont that at level 9 you're going to have a full eon or duskblade after yoummus, but its still weaker until later mid game to late game
