Just curious. She feels like a tank even with no MR/l and less HP than other champs that can be tank like Vi or Irellia (and both of them can skill kick the hell out of the enemy even with no damage). Would be fun if she got MR/l and some more hp even if she had to lose some power on her skills. Seeing her as assassin is a bit strange. ^_^"
She was an assassin. DFG was amplified by ult. "One shot" is generous for what horrors befell those she ulted-- she could nuke a single person from orbit. I prefer her MADC though. Ult the weakest link, go to town on the entire rest of the team, towers, buffs, whatever happens to be nearby.
Shouldn't Poppy be a Fighter/Tank?
Nope.
Fighter is tanky DPS Tank is tanky with CC and utility.
Poppy is not CC utility heavy, she's only tanky in the tanky DPS sense. Which is a Fighter. Also - assassin generally means dive carry, 1-shot them. Poppy can dive a carry and 1-shot them, so there's that.
Generally speaking fighter/assassins tend to have a ton of free defense so they can build pure offense as well. And when it comes to free defense so you never need to build defense ever - it doesn't get any better than invulnerability and immunity to CC. And that's on top of Poppy's passive and armor buff.
If you meant "her aesthetic with using heavy armor a shield and a hammer makes it seem weird she's a fighter assassin", then yeah - Poppy is an awkwardly designed champion full of a lot of unusual design choices.
I think the rumor mill says her eventual rework is making her a shield-bashing tank.
She should be a fighter/assassin or bruiser/assassin. I'm thinking she really belongs in a spot between Jax and Vi.
