Question regarding Shyvana, for Higher Elo Players.

is an absolute queen of The Jungle. THE Queen? No, but A Queen to be sure. My question is for higher elo players:

Shyvana's Abilities are well-known to have AP Scaling. As such, I've been enjoying playing her with and fused into a standard auto-attack based bruiser build. I'm aware that this is only VERY situtationally viable (Like say against Jax), but my question is where a build like this would be really good, or if it ever could be at all. Furthermore, if the build is failed trash, what would Riot need to do on their part to make AP or Hybrid Shyvana a viable path?
