Guinsoo's is not....

...overpowered.

It has lots of counterplay (cc, don't fight when he has 8 stacks, AS slows, no defense stats,etc/) And the only reason it feels powerful, is that it's being used by already strong champions when they get their build going (Sated Yi/Xin Zhao/Jax/Kayle, etc.)

how is cc counterplay for an item- It is way too easy for the champions that buy Guinsoo's to stack it. Everybody agrees that it is op.

Check champions winrates before and after guinsoo's rework.

Absolutely nothing changed.

And then you realize that some/most of the Champions received a higher pickrate while keeping their winrate.

Winrate alone doesn't mean anything. It's a number between pick AND winrate that is relevant.

  • cc works on everyone...not sure how that's relevant here
  • It's insane attack speed boost + paired with devourer/titanic = fully stacked rageblade in 3 autos (that's < 1.5 seconds needed to get 8 stacks)
  • AS slows doesn't affect it as much as you would think, considering how much attack speed it gives at 8 stacks (highest attack spd item in the game I think)
  • It may not have defense stats, but it has incredible dmg stats
  • Most of those champions were struggling/not seen often before rageblade (yi, xin, and jax all got incredible power spikes from rageblade; Kayle just got another ap/ad attack speed item to help her build)
