PSA: You doing damage is more important than 10 AD

This is aimed at ADCs.

For the love of god, unless you're one of the champions that doesn't need IE right away KogMaw Vayne Ezreal CorkiKalista, you should be buying it early. As a general rule, if you're an ADC and use autoattacks, build item 3031 because we can't all be item 3930 MasterYi. Unless the other team has absolutely no up-front damage, the extra burst is almost certainly better than the +10AD from item 3072. **Remember: lifesteal only works if you do damage. **

Also, in the event of tanks mitigating too much of your damage, remember that such items as item 3036 and item 3153 exist for your convenience.

You seem to forget that Essence Reaver is a very viable first item for nearly all the ADCs, right? After which you need to get a zeal item to take advantage of the crit, and by then you need at least a vamp scepter for the lifesteal (and you would have gotten boots earlier). That puts IE at around 5th component status, 4 complete item

It's amazing how many people forget item 3153 exists sometimes and then complain they can't kill the 4 Warmog's Tahm Kench.

This is kind of off-topic but what is up with teams engaging straight on Kog'Maw? If you just walk up forward and engage on him, you better be sure he dies instantly or it's incredibly stupid. It just lets his Runaan's attack 3 people at once for max DPS. The proper way to engage is from multiple angles, ideally faking it out to waste his W first

This should be a sticky or something. So many ADCs do not get that lifesteal doesn't mean anything if they aren't doing that much damage. It's such a waste in most cases.

I'm a support main, and I just had one of my Jhin ADCs try to say he'll go tanky. That was where I became concerned because ADCs should not be focusing too much on building defensively. Thankfully someone dodged.

The other team was stacking tanks. So I told him don't build BT early game because you aren't going to have enough damage to make that lifesteal useful, at least wait to build it after IE. Personally though the fact that so many ADCs overlook BotRK really irks me. We're in an age where tanks are deadly again, and even Vayne can struggle against them.

ADC itemization is laid out so nicely and clearly, why are so many ADCs getting it so wrong? I main a role where itemization is wonky at best, so I would be so happy if everything was that neat.

Another thing I'd like to add to this for ADCs is DO NOT TRY BUILDS YOU'VE SEEN ON STREAMS IN RANKED. It should be very obvious, but I've had more than a few say they saw a build or something in a stream. Bad idea.

I've had some success lately rushing Youmuu's. Since the preseason rework to give it more dmg it's both easy to get and pretty solid, the attack/movespeed active are pretty great. Not sure if it's really the best option as I kinda suck at this game, but I have fun with it :D
