I fought a wave of 3 super minions as 
support. I died valiantly.

As a tanky support these items will save your life if you need to push or defend for a long period of time.

I used my ult once to clear a wave...of super minions...coming from all three lanes...closing in on our last nexus turret...at 20% health.
35 seconds later there was a teamfight, and I didn't have my ult. I never did that mistake again.
Apply Bubbles where appropriate...not that they do much in terms of damage.

Really feel this as a Nami support. She might survive one wave with a superminion it, even with heal, and still die. LOL
I don't always play support , but when I Do, I need to build 
due to my adc being utter trash.

Sure, I COULD just ping the massive wave that's going to wreck our inhibitor, or I could use Leona's W+R and and hope my R comes back before the next fight starts. Hmmmm...
