Why does fiora's vitals not rotate with character model?
I don't even see the 'stand next to wall' counterplay everyones talking about because most good fioras will go for this vital first.
can any programmers explain how this works?

Fiora's vitals weren't programmed to bind to character orientation. That's why they don't move. If you need to get rid of your vitals, back away from her until it disappears, then come back.
I feel like making it rotate with the character model would cause unneeded complexity. The Fiora would have to deal with their opponent constantly spinning around to protect their vitals, and her opponent would have to constantly spin around to prevent Fiora from getting their vitals.
They made it that way because if it rotated based on direction, it would likely be incredibly challenging to consistently hit them, since both players are already constantly moving.
If vitals rotated with charcter model then people would just keep one vital always facing away from fiora with ease
League has instant turn speed, that's why.
