Questions and suggestions from a Swain main for Riot

So now that Swain is confirmed to be a part of the mid-year mage update, will he still require the rework that was planned for late this year / next year? Also, when implementing his update, my only suggestion is this. Do something with his Q. Swain can work really well with slows, but its hard to chase anyone down when it only takes one second to walk out of the tether, combine that with no mobility, and his W duration being cut in half. His Q is the least interactive part of his kit. I find it's most use by helping me last hit with it's first tic of damage, but trading with it just isn't fun.
