advice on adc laning.

something that I do a lot and don't know how to not do it or if it is bad, is pushing lane. it gets to just outside the enemy turret. If I let it freeze there, eventually the support gets antsy and tries to poke, which gives the patient jungler a great time to gank us for bad positioning. if I try to let it push into us, as soon as the wave moves 150 our direction the support skirmishes, which between their AOE and the enemy minions aggroing us first, the wave pushes back again and I'm at square 1. and if I crash it into turret, i can't crash it fast enough, so the next waves arrive and it's back in that pushed/frozen position.

so ...

  1. is the pushed position technically bad even, that I just need to accept it and learn how to capitalize better?

  2. is there any tips on effectively breaking this stalemate?

Have your support hard push it with you to help reset it. It may mean you give up a few cs, but it's worth it.

Unless you are planning to tower dive with your jungle and then take the turret it is almost always a bad idea to push to their turret. If you are head do what ever you need to to get the freeze on your side of river so you can zone them away from gold and xp.
