A Sugestion for Stealth

So I was doing some thinking about how stealth works in League and I came up with this idea: Is it possible to make it work like stealth does in Starcraft 2?

For those who don't play it: In SC2, stealthed units are still visible to the naked eye, but they have a filter over them that makes them hard to see without looking closely. This exists in conjunction with tools like the scanner which reveal stealthed units. A link to the wiki page of a stealthed Starcraft unit is included for reference.

I feel like this change (if it's possible with Riot's current tech) could make stealth healthier over all. Instead of being a hard-counter situation where the stealth champion is either caught and killed or assassinates with little counter-play; stealth becomes a tool to punish tunnel vision. Skilled players who maintain focus on their surroundings will be better able to react while players who focus too much on the enemy or farming are punished by it.

More work would need to go into this of course, you'd probably want a champion to be un-ping-able by the enemy team while stealthed but still targetable by abilities and auto-attacks, but I still fee like this would be a net improvement.

What are your thoughts on the idea?

Interesting idea. To that I ask; how often are these units used in professional play and how effective are they? Something like this could end up being like the pink ward in higher elo where if the players fighting the stealth guys know what their doing, or in this case know what to look for, there's little to no trouble at all.
