This game is addicting. Sometimes its a lot of fun. I'm not the kind of person who will get mad at losing, so even on crazy losing streaks i still find ways to have fun and enjoy playing. I play almost entirely normals, and occasionally venture into ranked but i get pretty discouraged pretty quickly when i do alright and still lose, so generally i just end up back in norms. I have a lot of fun playing at least a few champions in almost every role though jungle is a love hate relationship for me. I use to love meeting new people on league and just coming up with stupid team comps or playing ranked 5s and losing horribly because we didn't plan or practice. However as of late this feels almost non-existent.

That being said, sometimes this game and this community really just make me want to move on. I was on the verge of quitting entirely last season because of Riots stance on sandbox mode and all the promises that were broken, or just took entirely too long for them to do anything with. Obviously the announcement of all the changes during preseason helped cure me of some of these ill feelings, but now im back. This time for an entirely different reason.

This game is becoming less and less fun. I spend less time thinking about it, less time caring about it, and overall less time playing it. The mobility creep has made some of my favorite characters almost entirely useless. Some of the balance changes since around the time of the juggernauts up til now have been insane and unnecessary. Recent examples being; The change to, then utter murder of, Rylais ( I actually really thought the change was good though a bit overdone power wise). The destruction of Kalista... i cant think of a better word to describe it, and Now with mobility creep really starting to show its ugly head as marksmen and to a lesser extent immobile mages feel the wrath of Junglers and bruisers who can bounce around peel and ignore tanks to just destroy them. Balance wise its becoming a bit of a shit show. I just wish Riot would slow down and stop pushing huge gigantic changes on us for no reason other than they can...

The community is as toxic or more toxic than ever. At least it seems that way to me. Obviously I cant speak for everyone, but the growing number of games in which Im raged at because I dont cater to every beck and call of some 2/11/0 random on my team who thinks hes Faker is annoying at best. My last game tonight is the first time ive actually argued with someone in this game in several years. I'm usually good about holding my tongue as Ive never been banned or chat restricted and always avoided it. But Ive finally hit a point with this game where i just cant do it anymore. I cant continuously be flamed for trying to win... I realize this isnt something that can be fixed overnight, nor is there some golden solution, but something has got to give, because its like an onslaught of rage every single time i get on these days...

Ive taken breaks from league before. only once did i take an extended break where I didn't play for several months, but it was for entirely different reasons. Usually life related. That being said I think its time to either call it quits or to shelf the game till a later date. I've been venturing into other games like rocket league and Infestation the New Z Ive even done a couple more playthroughs of Skyrim in the last month or 2. I'm waiting on Islands of Nyne to release im going to play the hell out of that game probably lol.

I guess in the end people wont really give a shit about what i have to say and thats totally fine, but i really love this game and the ridiculous amount of time ive spent playing it so Im not just going to walk away without at least sharing how im feeling.

TLDR/Conclusion: Rito in the end what im trying to say is it feels like you've forgotten where you came from. Instead of working to make a fun game with a competitive team atmosphere its become a be competitive or die type of environment that fosters horrible attitudes and causes your own balance and creative teams to keep pushing the limits of the game instead of working within them. Prime example being mobility creep. Almost every champion that comes out now is either insanely mobile or in the case of Jhin insanely overpowered and ranged...

I read the whole thing and I agree. I recommend muting teammates and just playing for fun if you can. Rito should have an option for us to be able to mute pings because people will abuse it and use it to harass you with the missing ping.

I mean nothing about what you wrote is anything new. These things were here before you were playing and you just see it much more open now because that is what you focus on. The community has always been this way but since you were new back then you didn't really think of it because well you were new and learning. You see people be toxic nowadays because now instead of learning the game you are here to improve and win much more often.

I read half of it to much whining to read the rest. from that I think you should take a break from leage. No offense but Why play if you don't enjoy? You seem depressed take a couple days or week off and come back refreshed.
