Getting better at league is 100% attitude first and foremost! IMO

So when I'm on league of legends or the boards I always notice there are SO MANY people complaining about Riot or about other players or items or champions in their games. Since August Ive been learning a lot about myself and this game. I think the biggest thing ive learned though is that humility is key. Thinking I am where I should be or that I wasnt a part of the reason I just lost my last game usually means Im not going to get better or I will just keep losing.

Ive made it my goal to improve EVERY single game, and to NEVER blame my teammates, riot, or champion picks for a loss. Obviously I continually work on this and I still ocassionally saying, "This is absolutely the most wood 5 jarvan I have ever played with", or, "Rito pleez i cast that spell like 100 bajillion seconds ago", but I'm working on it and getting better and better about focusing on myself rather than everyone else in the game.

That being said My question to all of you is this. What do you think are some viable ways to better yourself and to become more confident in league of legends? Do you think being humble is a big deal or is this post just stupid? Last but not least, What do you think we can do to help all of our fellow league players grow and become better players without being utter, well, ass hats about it?

Thanks for reading hope to hear from lots of people about this.

the number one rule to improve at anything is to always blame yourself.

Was it your fault that thing happened? Why? Ok now you know.

Was it someone elses fault? Could you have influenced the out come in someway? Yes? Why didn't you? If you couldn't, then why do you care, it's out of your hands anyway. It's like getting mad at the sun for coming up.

Attitude is 100% of the game winning strategy.

Yet it's hard - hard as a jungler to deal with the constant harassment of your fellow toxic individuals, who build the toxicity in yourself until the point where you can't handle it anymore.

You know what I say though? Having a positive attitude comes first.

Your allies will be more confident in their ability if you aren't trash talking them, but building up their self esteem. This causes them to make the LCSBIGPLAYS everyone cares so much about. It also allows them to think much more clear headed since they don't have individuals harassing them to worry about making mistakes as much.

The real trade-off between maintaining a positive attitude, is your allies will play better, they will think better, and they will strategize better.

And by no means am I a Saint. I am one of League of Legends MOST toxic players, but I am trying to reform, because I realize how much a detriment it is to the environment around me, and the community in general. In the past month I have climbed 300 MMR raising me 120,000 positions closer to the #1 position in North America, and this is DUE to trying to maintain a positive attitude. I ALWAYS had the skill, i've been playing moba games for 9 years now. But a bad attitude is what prevents you from moving further.

I've already seen that video but i love it i have it saved in my favorites along with a couple of other inspiring league videos.

Thats so cool that you climbed so hard just from a simple attitude change. I just wish more of the people who need this message would see this post and that anyone who understands it and has experienced it would share it with everyone. This literally took me from an, "I hate this game" mentality to being absolutely passionate about getting better and making my league career mean something.
